Charles Caryl Coleman (Buffalo 1840 – Capri 1928), Peasant woman working in the fields on Capri (1901)
Oil painting on canvas 35 x 49 cm signed, located and dated Capri 1901 lower right, on the back there is the handwritten inscription Maria Trama.
Maria Trama was one of the housekeepers in Capri. Coleman gave her a number of paintings toward the end of his life.
